Overseas Applicants

The purpose of the Australian Defence Force overseas recruitment program is to address capability shortfalls across the three Services that cannot be solved using Australian personnel. The program is aimed at serving or recent ex-serving foreign military personnel, with specific qualifications and/ or experience, directly transferrable to our organisation with very limited extra training. Underage Applicants

To apply for a career in the Navy, Army or Air Force, applicants must be at least 16 years and 6 months old. However from My H.Q. you are able to maintain contact with Defence Force Recruiting, keep personal information current, review job preferences and view additional features. Special Requirements for working in the ADF

Working in the military gives you amazing benefits and opportunities, but also has some special requirements. ADF personnel are subject to military law, with its own judicial arrangements in addition to normal civilian law. The community expects the members of its armed forces to be of the highest calibre, both physically and ethically, so the ADF has in place a number of regulations which may impact on the lifestyle of military personnel.
