You may be offered additional courses throughout your career and an opportunity to further your studies in civil engineering at the Australian Defence Force Academy in Canberra (University College of the University of NSW).
Further study is actively encouraged and the Corps sponsors a number of officers each year for further study (including Masters degrees).
The majority of jobs in the ADF are available as Full Time positions, many are also available as Part Time or Reserve positions. A select number of jobs are available through the Gap Year program.
