You’ll fly within Australia and possibly overseas. Your initial flying will be with helicopter units, but you may convert to fixed wing, or be selected to train as a Qualified Flying Instructor. To apply for this role you will need to apply as a General Service Officer, and while due consideration is given, you aren't guaranteed of being allocated to the Corps of your choice.

Avionics Technicians ensure the instruments and electronic systems such as communications and navigational equipment on-board Army aircraft are maintained perfectly.

A job marshalling aircraft, preparing and loading aircraft ammunition and conducting hot and cold refuelling will be challenging but very satisfying.

A job orchestrating the pre and post mission planning for aircraft missions and establishing and maintaining data-link and satellite communications in support of Army aircraft operations will be challenging but very rewarding.
